Date Pecan Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 c. ground pecans
    1 c. Bordo dates, cut up
Preparation
    Combine butter and sugar; add vanilla.
    Add flour and mix. Add pecans and dates.
    Roll teaspoonfuls of dough into balls. Refrigerate balls 1 1/2 hours.
    Bake on greased cookie sheet approximately 20 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Remove from oven and roll in powdered sugar after cookies have cooled.
    Sprinkle with sugar again.
