Tomato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    4 ripe tomatoes, sliced
    1 c. shredded cheese (sharp)
    1 c. fine soft bread crumbs
    1 c. sour cream
    2 well beaten eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook onion in butter until tender.
    Place half of tomatoes in baking pan (10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch).
    Top each half with onion, cheese and crumbs; repeat.
    Mix remaining ingredients and pour over top.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 10 minutes more.
