Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. sliced cucumbers (medium size with skins on)
    1 c. peppers (some red if desired)
    1 c. cut onions, sliced or chunked
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    celery seed
Preparation
    Put salt on all vegetables, mix and let stand until some liquid forms, then drain off.
    Mix sugar and vinegar and a little celery seed.
    Pour over cucumber mixture.
    Let stand a while, then mix again.
    Put in covered dishes or jars and store in refrigerator.
    Will keep several months.
