Crickets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. plain flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. diced, toasted almonds
    1 c. chocolate-covered raisins
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except almonds and raisins, and blend well with a mixer, then stir in almonds and raisins.
    Drop by teaspoon 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes 54 to 60 cookies.
