*24 Hour Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, shredded
    1 small onion, chopped or grated
    1 green pepper, chopped
    6 stuffed olives, sliced
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery salt or celery seed
    1 tsp. prepared mustard
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Combine cabbage, onion, green pepper, olives and sugar. Combine remaining ingredients and boil for 3 minutes.
    Pour hot dressing over cabbage mixture.
    Cover and chill for 24 hours. This slaw keeps well in the refrigerator for several days.
    Serves 12.
