Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole fryer
    1/2 box Escort crackers
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    8 oz. sour cream
    1 stick butter
    1 can water chestnuts
Preparation
    Boil chicken; debone and cut into bite size pieces.
    Melt butter and place half in a 9 x 13-inch casserole.
    Crush crackers (Town House will do) and place half in casserole.
    Add half of the chicken on cracker layer.
    Add chestnuts after cutting them into slivers.
    Mix soups and sour cream in a bowl and pour half over layers.
    Add another layer of chicken, chestnuts, soups and crackers.
    Dribble remaining butter over crackers.
    Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
