2 2/3 c. coconut
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
4 egg whites
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 tsp. butter
Preparation

Grease and flour a large cookie sheet. Set aside. In a medium bowl, stir together coconut, sugar, flour and salt. Stir in egg whites and almond extract. Drop coconut mixture by rounded teaspoons 2-inches apart onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Transfer cookies to a wire rack and let cool.
