Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. peanuts
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. butter
Preparation
    In a 1 1/2-quart casserole, stir together peanuts, sugar, syrup and salt.
    Microwave 8 minutes on High.
    Add butter and vanilla.
    Microwave one minute longer on High.
    Add baking soda; quickly stir until light and foamy.
    Immediately pour onto lightly buttered baking sheet.
    Spread out thin.
    When cooled, break into pieces.
    Store in airtight container.
