Cheesy Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
    1 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 stack Ritz crackers
    1 stick oleo
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook vegetables in small amount of water until tender.
    Season with salt, pepper, bacon grease and 1 teaspoon sugar.
    Most of the liquid should be cooked out.
    Combine vegetables, celery, bell pepper, onion, mayonnaise and cheese.
    Mix well. Spoon into 2-quart greased casserole dish. Cook at 300\u00b0 until heated through and through and bubbly.
    Remove from oven. Top with buttered cracker crumbs. Return to oven and cook until brown.
