Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. beef tenderloin, sirloin tip or top round, cut into strips
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3 Tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet or Gravy Master
    2 garlic cloves, crushed
    1/2 c. flour or Wondra
    rice or noodles
    2 c. beef broth or beef bouillon
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 tsp. paprika
    1 c. ketchup
    2 large onions, sliced
    1 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 c. sour cream
    2 Tbsp. butter and oil
Preparation
    Melt butter and oil in large skillet.
    Saute beef in batches over high heat, browning thoroughly.
    Add more butter and oil if necessary.
    Add salt, paprika, pepper, Kitchen Bouquet, broth and ketchup.
    Simmer until meat is tender (about 20 minutes).
    Combine flour and water; add to meat mixture; stir until thick.
    In a separate skillet melt butter and oil.
    Saute onions, garlic and mushrooms until brown (about 20 minutes over high heat).
    Add vegetables to meat.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Add sour cream and serve over rice or noodles.
