Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. Crisco (heaping)
    1 c. buttermilk (to make soft dough)
Preparation
    Sift together the flour, cream of tartar and salt. Add the Crisco and buttermilk. Mix together and empty onto well floured board. Roll out to approximately 1/2-inch thickness. Bake in hot oven at 400\u00b0 approximately 15 minutes.
