Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. yellow squash
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. bread crumbs, divided
    4 Tbsp. chopped onion
    4 Tbsp. soft margarine
    1/8 c. sugar
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cube and cook squash until tender; drain and mash. Add beaten egg, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, onion, margarine, sugar, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and pour into a greased 7 x 11-inch casserole dish. Sprinkle with remaining bread crumbs. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes, until lightly browned and bubbly.
