Our Favorite Barbecue Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stew beef
    1 1/2 lb. lean pork
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 chicken
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    18 oz. barbecue sauce
    1 large onion
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook and bone chicken.
    Cook stew beef and pork until well done (meat will be stringy; add water as needed).
    Combine beef, pork and chicken in large open pot.
    Add sauces, onion and ground beef; stir constantly, simmering very slowly, for about 1 hour. Add extra sauce or water, if needed, to keep hash from sticking.
