Beef Teriyaki - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef round, cut in strips
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. dry sherry
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    cooked rice (optional)
Preparation
    In small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sherry, sugar, ginger and garlic powder.
    Stir in meat and let marinate for 10 minutes. Broil 4 inches from heat for 1 to 2 minutes each side or until done as desired.
    Serve on rice.
    Makes 4 servings.
