Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Crisco
    6 eggs
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. plain flour
    1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix together buttermilk and soda.
    Blend sugar and Crisco together.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Add milk and flour alternately.
    Add vanilla.
    Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 25 to 30 minutes.
