Frozen Waldorf Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1/2 c. pineapple juice
1/2 c. finely chopped celery
1/2 c. crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 c. walnuts
2 unpeeled apples, chopped
2 c. whipped topping
Preparation

In saucepan, over medium heat, combine eggs, sugar, salt and juice.
Cook, stirring, until thick.
Cool.
Add celery, pineapple, nuts and apples.
Fold in whipped cream and freeze. Place in refrigerator for about two hours before serving.
May be refrozen.
This keeps several months in freezer.
