Rhubarb Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. fresh or frozen rhubarb, sliced in 1/2-inch pieces
2 c. fresh or frozen strawberries, sliced
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. quick cooking tapioca
pastry for 9-inch double crust pie
Preparation

In a mixing bowl combine the first four ingredients and let stand for 15 minutes. Line 9-inch pie plate with pastry.
Add filling.
Top with a lattice crust.
Flute the edges.
Brush with cream and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake for 40 to 50 minutes at 400\u00b0 or until the crust is golden and filling is bubbling.
Yields 8 servings.
