Minute Fudge Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. light corn syrup (Karo)
    2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, cut up or 1/4 c. cocoa
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 stick oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except vanilla. Stir over low heat until chocolate and oleo melt. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute (220\u00b0). Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm. Stir in vanilla. Beat until smooth spreading consistency. Add 1 cup chopped nuts if desired.
