Oriental Meat Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. herb-seasoned Croutettes
    2 c. tomato sauce with mushrooms
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 can (5 oz.) drained, coarsely chopped water chestnuts
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Soften Croutettes with 1 cup tomato sauce in 2-quart mixing bowl; let stand to soften.
    Add beef, well-beaten egg, soy sauce and water chestnuts.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Gently form into meat balls.
    Place in shallow baking pan.
    Add water to remaining tomato sauce; pour over meat balls.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for approximately 30 to 40 minutes.
    May be served over fluffy rice or long grain and wild rice.
