Johnson'S Temptation (Swedish) - cooking recipe

2 onions
3 Tbsp. butter
4 medium to large raw potatoes, peeled and cut into strips
1 can anchovy fillets (small)
1 1/4 c. light cream
bread crumbs
Preparation

Saut onions in 1 tablespoon butter. Butter baking dish. Layer potatoes, anchovies and onions, ending with top layer of potatoes. Pour the brine from the anchovy can on top. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and dot with butter.
Add half of the cream. Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 50 to 60 minutes. Add remaining cream after 10 minutes of baking as needed. Serve hot from baking dish. Serves 4 to 6.
