Pilgrim Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. allspice
    1/2 tsp. ground cloves
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 1/2 c. pumpkin or squash
    unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Refrigerate pie shell.
    Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Combine sugar, salt and spices.
    Add pumpkin, milk, and eggs.
    Heat until smooth. Pour into shell.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 minutes, then reduce the heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 35 minutes or until the custard is set. Cool.
