Cabbage Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced or diced carrots
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. minced onion
    2 c. diced potatoes
    1/2 tsp. caraway seed
    1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
    1 can cream of celery soup, undiluted
    1 soup can milk
    1/4 c. minced parsley
    3 c. shredded cabbage
    1 lb. ring smoked sausage, sliced in 1/2-inch slices or 2 c. leftover smoked ham, diced
Preparation
    Cook carrots and celery in large Dutch oven or soup pot, covered for 10 minutes.
    Add potatoes; cook 10 minutes longer.
    Do not drain.
