Red Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head red cabbage
    2 Tbsp. Crisco
    1 tsp. salt
    2 apples
    1 small jar grape jelly
    3/4 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Melt Crisco.
    Cook cut up cabbage.
    Add salt.
    Add vinegar. Slow cook for 1 hour.
    Add jelly, sugar and apples; stir.
    Cook for another hour.
