Green Bean Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 (10 oz.) pkg. French-cut green beans
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. grated onion
1/2 lb. grated Swiss cheese
1/2 c. cornflake crumbs
2 tsp. melted butter
Preparation

Cook green beans according to package until almost tender. Drain and set aside.
Melt 2 tablespoons butter.
Add flour and cook until smooth.
Remove from heat and add sour cream, sugar, salt and onion.
Mix thoroughly; return to stove and cook until thickened.
Combine sauce and beans.
Place in buttered casserole. Sprinkle Swiss cheese over top.
Combine cornflake crumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over cheese.
Bake, uncovered, at 400\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
Serves 12.
