Golden Ham Croquettes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. margarine
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/4 c. flour
3/4 c. milk
2 to 3 Tbsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. grated onion
3/4 c. bread crumbs (dry)
2 c. coarsely ground ham
1 beaten egg
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
dash of pepper
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. shredded Cheddar
1/2 c. Swiss cheese
Preparation

In a saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour and curry powder. Gradually add milk.
Cook, stirring, until bubbly.
Cook and stir 2 minutes longer.
Remove from heat and stir in mustard and onion. Add ham.
Mix well.
Cover and chill
thoroughly.
With wet hands, shape into 10 balls.
Roll in bread crumbs.
Shape each into a cone.
Dip each into egg mixture.
Roll again in crumbs. Heat oil in a deep fat fryer at 365\u00b0.
Fry a few at a time for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes.
