Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut into pieces
    1 1/2 qt. cold water
    3 c. flour
    1 walnut size lump butter
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook chicken on medium heat for 1 hour.
    Take meat from bone; save or reserve to pour into chicken dumpling broth.
    Stir flour, butter and milk together until consistency stiff as pie crust dough.
    Lay onto slightly floured cutting board; roll with rolling pin until thin.
    Cut dough with knife into desired size pieces. Cook in boiling broth.
    Don't forget to put chicken in.
