Sugar-Free Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped prunes
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. margarine
2 c. water
2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Bring to a boil the dates, prunes, raisins, margarine and water.
(You may use 1 cup apple juice plus 1 cup water instead of the 2 cups water.)
Simmer 2 minutes; let cool.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, soda, salt, cinnamon, beaten eggs, vanilla and nuts.
Add this to the cooled fruit mixture.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 12-inch pan or a tube pan.
Bake in a preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 40 minutes.
