Transparent Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    5 Tbsp. cream
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. white sugar
Preparation
    Make
    your
    favorite pastry recipe for a one-crust pie. Line pie
    shell
    and
    crimp
    the
    edges.
    Have
    the butter or margarine at room temperature and work it into the sugar.
    Add the
    egg yolks and cream.
    Then add the flavoring.
    Pour into the unbaked pie crust and bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for approximately 30 minutes or until the filling is firm and light brown.
