Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 onion, diced
    cumin to taste
    green chiles
    1 c. corn meal
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    jalapeno peppers (optional)
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 c. milk
    1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
Preparation
    Saute ground beef, onion, cumin and green chiles in heavy skillet; drain.
    Mix remaining ingredients together.
    Spoon half batter in greased casserole.
    Place beef mixture over batter; top with remaining batter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until brown.
