Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
3 eggs
3 c. plain flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. fresh apples, diced
juice of 1 lemon
1 c. black walnuts, chopped
Preparation

Combine sugar and oil.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add to egg mixture.
Add vanilla.
Sprinkle apples with lemon juice and fold into batter with nuts.
Pour into greased and floured tube or Bundt pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 75 minutes.
Cool 15 minutes and top with Caramel Glaze.
