Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flaked coconut
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour and salt; gradually add milk.
Cook and stir until mixture thickens. Cook 2 minutes longer.
Remove from heat.
Stir small amount hot mixture into beaten egg yolks, return to hot mixture.
Cook 2 more minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add butter, vanilla and coconut.
Cool and pour into a 9-inch baked pastry shell.
Add meringue and sprinkle with coconut.
Brown in hot oven (350\u00b0).
