Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 large peppers
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 small chopped onion
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. garlic salt or plain salt
    1 c. cooked rice
    1 c. cooked corn
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    3/4 c. shredded cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Cut top off peppers, stem ends and remove seeds.
    Leave whole and scald in boiling water for 3 minutes.
    Cook hamburger and onion until done.
    Drain and stir in salt, cooked rice, corn and tomato sauce.
    Heat thoroughly.
    Stuff the peppers and place in a baking pan or Pyrex with just enough water to cover bottom of the pan (about 2 tablespoons).
    Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until peppers are tender.
