Baked Peaches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large peaches
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. mace
    1 lemon (juice and rind)
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. brandy
Preparation
    Peel peaches and put in baking dish.
    Add water, sugar, mace and lemon juice.
    Dot with butter.
    Sprinkle lemon rind on top. Add brandy.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes, covered.
    Serve hot or cold.
    Good with vanilla ice cream.
