Pot Roast Dinner For Two - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. beef roast
    1 tsp. vegetable oil
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3/4 cup water
    2 carrots, sliced
    4 baby onions
    2 potatoes, peeled and quartered
Preparation
    Brown meat in hot oil.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Add water and cover and simmer for one hour.
    Add vegetables and simmer another hour.
