Large, Moist Jewish Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    4 eggs or substitute
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    juice of 1 orange
    5 large apples, peeled
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    5 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Measure the first 6 ingredients into one bowl and mix well. Use a large tube pan (10-inch), greased and floured.
    Peel and slice apples and mix with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
    Pour half of cake mixture in pan and cover with half of apples.
    Add rest of batter and top with rest of apples.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 3/4 hours. Test and bake longer if needed.
