Caramel Candy Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (14 oz.) pkg. vanilla caramels
1/3 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 c. oats
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. margarine
1 (6 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans
1 egg
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Heat caramels and milk in 2-quart saucepan over low heat; stir frequently until melted.
Mix flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda, egg and salt. Cut in margarine with fork until crumbly.
Press 1/2 of mixture into pan.
Bake 10 minutes.
Sprinkle nuts, then chips over baked layer.
Drizzle caramel mixture over top.
Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
Cool completely.
Store in refrigerator.
May microwave when ready to eat.
