Sauerkraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (1 lb.) can sauerkraut
    1/2 c. cucumber (sliced thin)
    1/2 c. celery, chopped
    1/2 c. carrot, shredded
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 c. sugar
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Drain sauerkraut and cut into short pieces.
    Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Cover and chill for 8 hours or overnight.
