Slow Cooked Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. round steak
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 c. chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp. sugar
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes with liquid
2 green peppers, cut into strips
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 c. cold water
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
cooked noodles or rice
Preparation

Cut beef into 3 x 1-inch strips.
Place in crock-pot.
Combine the next 4 ingredients and pour over beef.
Cover and cook on low 5 to 6 hours.
Add tomatoes and green peppers; cook on low for 1 hour longer.
Combine the cold water and cornstarch to make a paste.
Stir into liquid in slow cooker and cook on high until thickened.
Serve over noodles or rice.
