Brazil Nut Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. whole Brazil nuts
    2 pkg. (7 1/2 oz.) pitted dates
    1 c. maraschino cherries, drained
    3/4 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix together nuts, dates and cherries.
    Sift dry ingredients over them and mix.
    Add eggs and vanilla; mix again.
    Pour into lined loaf pan.
    Bake 1 3/4 to 2 hours at 300\u00b0.
