Confetti Torte - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until foamy.
    Gradually beat in sugar and continue beating until very stiff and glossy. Fold in vanilla.
    Turn 2 (8-inch) cake pans upside down.
    Cover with brown paper.
    Spread with meringue. Bake in 275\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Cool.
