Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    6 c. milk
    2 cans evaporated milk
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat eggs until light.
    Add sugar gradually.
    Continue to beat until it thickens.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Mix well and freeze.
    Makes 1 gallon.
