Fried Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 stick butter
    ground red pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
    your favorite meat (Polish sausage, wieners or beef sausage)
Preparation
    Wash cabbage; cut in eighths (big chunks).
    Add all ingredients, except meat.
    When about 1/2 done (wilting good), add your favorite meat.
    Add enough water to just keep moist so it doesn't stick or rush them.
