Chocolate Chip Toffee Bars(Skor Bars) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2/3 c. packed light brown sugar
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. Skor English toffee bits, divided
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    In a large bowl, stir flour and brown sugar.
    Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
    Add egg; mix well.
    Stir in 1 1/2 cups of the chips and nuts.
    Reserve 1 1/2 cups of mixture.
    Press remaining mixture into bottom of pan.
    Bake 10 minutes.
    Pour Eagle Brand over hot crust.
    Top with 1 1/2 cups toffee bits.
    Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture and remaining chocolate chips over top. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
    Sprinkle with remaining toffee bits while hot.
    Cool completely.
    Cut into bars. These bars freeze well.
