Kat'S Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1/2 c. rice (not instant)
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Warm milk and add rice.
    Simmer, covered, until rice is cooked.
    Beat eggs and sugar until consistency of syrup.
    Mix 3 or 4 tablespoons of hot rice mixture into egg mixture and add to pot. Cook about 1 or 2 minutes.
    Add vanilla and raisins.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg, if desired.
