Black Bottom Cups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 unbeaten egg
    1/3 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. chocolate chips
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. water
    1/3 c. cooking oil
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat together first 4 ingredients.
    Stir in chocolate chips. Sift together following ingredients: flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt.
    Add water, oil, vinegar and vanilla.
    Beat until well combined.
    Fill muffin cup 1/3 full with chocolate batter. Top each one with heaping teaspoonful cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle with sugar and chopped nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    Makes 2 dozen.
