Chili Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
3/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (1 lb.) can (2 c.) tomatoes, broken up
1 (1 lb.) can pinto beans
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1 to 2 tsp. chili powder
1 bay leaf
Preparation
-
In skillet, cook meat, onion and green pepper until meat is browned.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover and simmer for 1 hour.
Remove bay leaf.
Makes 4 servings.
A family favorite.
