Tamale Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 pkg. chili seasoning
    1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    1 can (14 oz.) kidney beans
    1 box (8 1/2 oz.) corn muffin mix
    1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown beef and drain fat.
    Stir in chili seasoning, tomato sauce and kidney beans.
    Pour into a 2 quart casserole.
    Prepare muffin mix according to package directions.
    Spread batter over chili.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until center is firm.
    Top with cheese and bake 5 minutes, or until cheese melts. Makes 6 servings.
