Braised Short Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. beef short ribs
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 crushed clove garlic
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
    2 Tbsp. steak sauce
    1/2 tsp. marjoram
    4 peppercorns
    1 bay leaf
    1 c. water
    2 to 3 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    In a 12-inch Dutch oven, brown ribs (fat side down) for 30 minutes.
    Discard
    drippings.
    Add\tonions,
    garlic,
    beef broth, steak sauce, marjoram, peppercorns, bay leaf and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil and then simmer, covered, for 2 hours. Remove meat and skim fat from Dutch oven.
    Mix flour with 1/2 cup water. Stir
    into Dutch oven and boil for 3 minutes. Pour over ribs.
