Ingredients

1 c. butter
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. flour
dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pt. whipping cream

Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add other ingredients.
Start cake in a cold oven, turn to 300\u00b0 and bake an hour.
