Crisp Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs, well beaten
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    spoonful of milk
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    flour
Preparation
    To make a soft dough, combine butter, 1 1/2 cups sugar, eggs, baking soda, cream of tartar and 1 pint of flour to start.
    Roll out and cut.
    Spread a little milk on top and sprinkle remainder of sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon on top.
    Bake in hot oven at 400\u00b0 until light brown.
